Optimisation Task: Review Distribution - Send your Reviews to VRBO

Module 12: Reviews, Reputation & Guest Retention

In short

OwnerRez can share reviews it holds with channels that accept external reviews, such as Vrbo, which helps a newer listing on one platform benefit from guest feedback earned elsewhere. Review syncing has to be turned on in each channel's settings, and not every channel accepts outside reviews. Checking every channel individually makes sure your review history is shown wherever it is allowed.

Questions people ask

Can I show my Airbnb reviews on Vrbo?

Vrbo can display reviews imported from a channel manager like OwnerRez when review syncing is enabled, though hosts cannot reply to those imported reviews.

Does every booking channel accept synced reviews?

No. Only some channels accept external reviews, so the review sync setting needs to be checked for each channel connected to OwnerRez.

Why sync reviews to a new channel?

A new listing with no reviews can struggle to win trust, so showing existing guest reviews helps it start with credibility.
