Action: Booking.com - Request your booking.com listing from the old property manager (If Applicable)

Listing Setup: Booking.com - Setup

In short

Booking.com allows only one listing per property, so if your property is already listed under a previous manager the only option is a formal ownership transfer, not a new listing. You need your own active Booking.com account first, and the current manager must provide the listing ID and request the transfer. Airbnb and Vrbo handle duplicates differently, so each platform needs its own approach.

Questions people ask

Can I create a new Booking.com listing if my old manager already listed the property?

No. Booking.com allows only one listing per property, so the existing listing has to be transferred to your account.

Who starts a Booking.com listing transfer?

The current property manager usually has to initiate it with Booking.com, and the owner then confirms from their own account.

Does Airbnb allow duplicate listings during a handover?

No. Airbnb may remove duplicate listings for the same property, so the old manager's availability should be closed before your listing goes live.
