Optimisation Task: Complete Every Additional Property Section (Not Just Amenities)

Module 6: OwnerRez - Setting up the Channel Manager

In short

Amenities are only half the job. Accommodation details, services, accessibility, health and safety, and location are all structured data that Airbnb and Vrbo use for filters, search inclusion and listing completeness. Selecting everything that is genuinely true, including on-request items, widens the searches you appear in, while accessibility features must be accurate and supported by photos on Airbnb.

Questions people ask

Do on-request services count as listing features?

Yes. Items such as high chairs, travel cots or luggage drop-off can still be selected if guests can request them, which helps you match more searches.

Why might an accessibility feature not show on Airbnb?

Airbnb often requires a tagged photo for each accessibility feature. If the photo is not added on Airbnb, the feature may not display even when it is selected in your channel manager.
