Communication 5: OwnerRez - Channel Message - Short-Term Rental Agreement

Channel Messaging Templates.

In short

When a guest has not signed the short-term rental agreement soon after booking, an automatic follow-up message chases it for you. The message links to one page where the guest signs the agreement, uploads ID and adds card details for any security deposit. In OwnerRez, a trigger conditioned on the agreement being unsigned keeps reminding guests and stops as soon as they complete it, with an internal alert if they still have not.

Questions people ask

How do I get guests to sign a rental agreement for an Airbnb booking?

Send a link straight after booking and follow up automatically with reminders until it is signed, escalating to a phone call if needed.

Can OwnerRez stop reminders once the agreement is signed?

Yes. Triggers can be conditioned on the rental agreement status, so follow-ups only go to guests who have not yet signed.

Why use a short-term rental agreement on top of platform terms?

It confirms the guest has accepted your house rules and conditions in writing, which makes expectations clear and rules easier to enforce.
