Lesson: Why a Host Network Beats Going It Alone

Module 14: Exclusive Client Property Sharing

In short

A trusted host network lets each host show the others' properties on their direct booking sites, so a guest you can't host can still book someone you trust directly. Guests get more choice, repeat stays in new places, lower fees and confidence. Hosts gain exposure and keep guest relationships away from platform fees, while each booking's revenue stays with that property's owner.

Questions people ask

What is a short-term rental host network?

It is a group of hosts who agree to show each other's properties on their direct booking websites, so guests can book any member's property directly with that host.

Do hosts in a network share booking revenue?

Not in a well-designed network. Each booking's revenue stays with the owner of the property that was booked; members share exposure, not income.

Can I send Airbnb guests to my network's properties?

Not through Airbnb messages. Airbnb's off-platform policy doesn't allow off-platform links or encouraging bookings off Airbnb, so networks work through hosts' own direct channels.
