We’re excited to host you at Carinya Coastal Escapes and want to help make your stay comfortable, straightforward and respectful of the home, surrounding bushland and our neighbours. Please take a moment to review the following important information and house rules before your stay.
🏞️ Important Information 🏞️
➖ Rental Agreement: By attending the property, you agree to the terms outlined in the short-term rental agreement provided for your booking.
➖ Guest Numbers: The number of guests staying at or attending the property must match the number of guests confirmed on the booking.
➖ Maximum Occupancy: Carinya Coastal Escapes comfortably sleeps up to 10 people.
➖ Property Layout: Carinya is arranged across three main levels, with internal and external stairs connecting different areas of the property.
➖ National Park Setting: Carinya backs onto Bouddi National Park and is surrounded by coastal bushland. Guests should take normal care around native vegetation, wildlife and bushland areas.
🏞️ Booking Rules 🏞️
➖ The person making the booking must be part of the travelling party. Where a business books on behalf of their workers, we request that the worker in charge be added to the booking.
➖ All guests, including children and infants, must be included in the booking.
➖ Unregistered guests are not permitted to stay at the property without prior approval.
➖ Any request to add guests before arrival must be arranged through the booking platform.
➖ The property must not exceed its approved capacity of 10 people.
➖ Please ensure your booking details remain accurate throughout your stay.
🏞️ Check-In and Check-Out 🏞️
➖ Please conduct a walkthrough when you arrive and report any existing damage, maintenance concerns or cleaning issues promptly through the booking platform.
➖ Any problems should be reported as soon as they are noticed so we have an opportunity to assist during your stay.
➖ Check-in time is 3:00 PM. During peak season, cleaning may run over time, but cleanliness and safety remain our top priorities.
➖ Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM. Late check-outs must be arranged 72 hours in advance to avoid additional charges.
➖ Before departure, please check the home carefully for personal belongings.
➖ Any items left behind may need to be returned at the guest’s expense.

Please treat Carinya Coastal Escapes with the same care and respect you would your own home. To maintain a welcoming and safe environment, please follow these guidelines:
🏞️ Noise & Respect for Neighbours 🏞️
➖ Please keep noise at a respectful level throughout your stay.
➖ Avoid excessive noise, amplified music or behaviour that may disturb neighbouring properties.
➖ Parties, schoolies gatherings and large events are not permitted.
➖ Please be particularly mindful of noise on verandas, balconies and outdoor areas during the evening.
🏞️ Cleanliness & Damage 🏞️
➖ Report any unsatisfactory cleaning, maintenance issues or existing damage shortly after arrival so we can assist.
➖ Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves, members of their group or approved pets during the stay.
➖ Please provide photos through the booking platform when reporting damage or maintenance concerns where practical.
➖ Accidental damage should be reported immediately.
➖ Please do not move furniture between levels or substantially rearrange the home.
🏞️ Hair Bleach, Fake Tan & Staining Products 🏞️
➖ Hair bleach, fake tan and similar products that may permanently stain linen, towels, furniture or other surfaces should not be used in a way that risks damage to the property.
➖ Guests are responsible for cleaning, repair or replacement costs resulting from staining or damage caused by these products.
🏞️ Smoking 🏞️
➖ Smoking is not permitted inside on the balcony, or near the property. Any violation will result in cleaning and deodorisation charges.
➖ Extra care is required because Carinya backs directly onto Bouddi National Park and coastal bushland.
🏞️ Pets 🏞️
➖ Carinya Coastal Escapes welcomes up to 2 pets with prior approval.
➖ Pets must be approved before arrival.
➖ Pet owners are responsible for supervising their pets and preventing damage to the home, furnishings and surrounding property.
➖ Please clean up all pet waste before departure.
➖ Pets should not be allowed to disturb neighbouring properties or local wildlife.
➖ Please refer to the digital house guide for any additional pet-specific instructions.
🏞️ Prohibited Activities 🏞️
➖ No parties, schoolies gatherings or large events are permitted.
➖ Illegal substances are not permitted at the property.
➖ Open flames must not be used unless they form part of an approved property appliance or feature and are used in accordance with the supplied instructions.
➖ Guests must not interfere with locks, safety equipment, electrical systems or property infrastructure.
🏞️ Power & Air-Conditioning 🏞️
➖ Please turn off unnecessary lights, air-conditioning and appliances when leaving the property.
➖ Air-conditioning is available across the home and should be used responsibly.
➖ Doors and windows should be closed when air-conditioning is operating where practical.
🏞️Kitchen 🏞️
➖ The kitchen includes an oven, cooktop, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher.
➖ Please clean cooking surfaces and appliances after use.
➖ Please do not place unsuitable items into the dishwasher or kitchen appliances.
➖ Food and rubbish should not be left behind in a condition that attracts insects, pests or wildlife.
➖ Please place used cookware, crockery, glasses and cutlery back in their appropriate locations before departure.
🏞️Coffee Machine 🌊🏞️
➖ Please use only products suitable for the supplied coffee machine.
➖ Do not place instant coffee directly into the coffee machine.
➖ Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the coffee machine.
➖ If you experience a problem with the machine, please contact the host.
🏞️ BBQ & Balcony 🏞️
➖ A 4-burner BBQ is provided on the balcony.
➖ Please clean the BBQ after use and leave the cooking surface in a reasonable condition.
➖ Never leave the BBQ unattended while operating.
➖ Children must be supervised around the BBQ.
➖ Please ensure the BBQ is turned off completely after use.
➖ Take particular care with heat and ignition sources due to Carinya’s position beside Bouddi National Park and surrounding coastal bushland.
🏞️ Verandas, Balcony & Stairs 🏞️
➖ Carinya is a multi-level home with stairs connecting the top, middle, bottom and garage levels.
➖ Please use handrails where provided and take care when using stairs.
➖ Children should be appropriately supervised around stairs, balconies, verandas and elevated areas.
➖ Do not climb, sit or stand on balcony or veranda railings.
➖ Please do not throw or drop objects from balconies or verandas.
➖ Outdoor furniture should remain within its designated area.
🏞️ Bushland & Wildlife 🏞️
➖ Carinya backs directly onto Bouddi National Park.
➖ Please respect the surrounding native vegetation and wildlife. Do not feed wildlife.
➖ Do not remove plants, rocks, timber or other natural material from the surrounding bushland.
➖ Food and rubbish should be secured so that it does not attract wildlife.
➖ Please remain mindful of changing weather and bushfire conditions when using outdoor areas.
🏞️ Bedding, Linen & Towels 🏞️
➖ Bed linen is supplied.
➖ Two bath towels are supplied per guest.
➖ Please do not use bath towels for the beach, cleaning, removing makeup, fake tan or other activities likely to cause staining or damage.
🏞️ Checkout Guidelines 🏞️
Please leave Carinya Coastal Escapes in a reasonably clean and respectful condition. Before leaving:
➖ Place rubbish in the appropriate bins.
➖ Remove excessive rubbish from the property if it cannot reasonably fit within the supplied bins.
➖ Wash or load used dishes into the dishwasher.
➖ Return cookware, crockery, cutlery and glasses to their appropriate locations.
➖ Return furniture and household items to their original positions.
➖ Ensure personal belongings have been removed.
➖ Switch off unnecessary lights, air-conditioning and appliances.
➖ Ensure the BBQ is clean and completely turned off if used.
➖ Close and secure doors and windows as instructed.
➖ Follow the self check-out and property-security instructions contained in the digital house guide.
➖ Report any damage or maintenance problems before departure.
🏞️ Ongoing Improvement 🏞️
Our property is always being updated and improved, with new additions regularly introduced to enhance your stay. However, when guests do not respect the property or cause damage to amenities, furniture, or other features, it slows down our ability to make these improvements.
